Michael Pollack
Co-Founder and CEO of SCA Charitable Foundation

Michael is an entrepreneur with 20+ years experience on Wall Street, most recently as Chief Investment Officer of Destrier Capital Management and prior to that as one of two general partners at Glenhill Capital Management.  He was also a Clinical Professor of Business and Society at NYU Stern for a decade where he taught courses in Ethical Philosophy and Social Entrepreneurship.  In his capacity as CEO of SCA, in addition to his work with his family office, Michael currently sits on the boards or serves as a strategic advisor to over a dozen companies, including all of SCA’s partner organizations.

Michael graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Anjali Pollack
Founder and CEO of Anjali Pollack Design

Anjali is the Founder and CEO of Anjali Pollack Design, a boutique interior design firm located in New York City.  Over her nearly twenty years in operation Anjali Pollack Design has worked with numerous clients in multiple geographies helping each client achieve a functional aesthetic that meets their needs.

Anjali graduated with a B.A. from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and an MFA in Interior Design from the the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Dr. Gene Gurkoff, Ph.D.
Professor of Neuroscience, UC Davis

Dr. Gurkoff is a Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery and in the Center for Neuroscience at UC Davis.  His primary research interest is creating novel therapies for patients with neurological disorders including traumatic brain injury, epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease.  Dr. Gurkoff’s lab’s current focus is on using advanced in-vivo electrophysiology techniques to identify systems-level changes in brain activity and evaluate how these changes relate to symptomology. Furthermore, he is interested in developing innovative neuromodulator approaches, in particular deep brain stimulation, for treating these complex diseases.

Jason H. Karp
Founder and CEO of Human Co 

Jason H. Karp is Founder and CEO of HumanCo — a mission-driven, private holding company which invests in and creates companies focused on healthier living. Previously, Jason was the Founder and CEO of Tourbillon Capital Partners, an investment fund that managed over $4 billion, and has over 21 years of investment experience at other multi-billion dollar investment funds. At the end of 2018, Jason decided to return all investor money and retire from the hedge fund industry to focus his efforts on health and wellness, embracing the belief that improving health is the most effective strategy to increase global prosperity.

Jason graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was also Academic All-American and Academic All-Ivy as a Varsity Squash player. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy as well as the Tufts Food and Nutrition Innovation Council. His philanthropic interests and family foundation focus on education, prevention and treatment of autoimmune diseases, chronic diseases and childhood obesity.

Nadine Mirchandani
EY Global Deputy Vice Chair – Strategy and Transactions

As EY Global Deputy Vice Chair – Strategy and Transactions, Nadine brings over 25 years of strategy and M&A experience advising clients as they reimagine their ecosystems, reshape their portfolios and reinvent themselves for a better future.  Nadine, along with her global teams, have worked extensively in the Americas and Europe advising companies on their strategy and capital agenda’s to deliver long term value. Nadine also serves as an EY Global Client Service Partner where she oversees the Firm’s relationship and all our client work for a large global systemically important bank.

Nadine is a US CPA, a member of the AICPA as well as a Canadian FCPA, FCA of CPA Ontario. Nadine is a graduate of Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada and currently serves on their Smith School of Business Global Council.

Nadine was named a Fellow in the 2016-1017 class of David Rockefeller Fellows.
